In 2026, Seychelles also marks 55 years of aviation meteorological services, highlighting the enduring importance of accurate and timely weather information to national safety and connectivity.

The exhibition also provides an opportunity for members of the public to meet SMA meteorologists and technical experts, ask questions, and gain a better understanding of how meteorological information supports preparedness, safety, and resilience across the islands.

Through its participation in the Golden Jubilee Celebration Exhibition, the Seychelles Meteorological Authority reaffirms its commitment to delivering reliable weather, climate, and marine services that help safeguard lives, protect property, and support informed decision-making across the country.
