Event description

Moderate Tropical Storm 4 (CHENGE) is expected to become a Tropical Depression within the next 12 hours and further weaken to a remnant low within 72 hours. Moderate to strong winds expected over Mahe, Praslin, La Digue, Silhoutte, Farquhar, Aldabra, Amirantes, Alphonse and Coetivy group of islands causing moderate to rough seas, falling trees and flying debris.

Instructions

The general public is advised to take extra precautions due to falling trees and flying debris. Mariners are also advised to take extra precautions when navigating through these areas. We are closely monitoring and we will continue to provide updates.
